Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters
The HIPPY Program is a home based program offered by WACD for parents who are interested in teaching their preschoolers at home. The HIPPY Program includes 30 weekly lessons, books and supplies for the parent to do the lessons with their child. Our Educators will meet with you once a week in your home to go over the lessons with you and answer any questions you may have about your child's development. Monthly Group meetings are held at a local facility for the parents of the HIPPY program to get together with other parents in the community and learn and grow.
Our HIPPY program and local child care facilities collaborate to provide additional services to parents such us, opportunities for child to be photographed, holiday parties and activities, group meetings, educational services and child care services.
